Project Engineer

Description:
The Project Engineer will support installation projects by participating to the project planning and its meetings, influencing and participating to the design of the laboratory, conducting pre-installation technical checks, conducting on site visits and field tests according to instructions, and developing tools to make installations faster and easier. Work includes also working with MEGIN other functions like Sales and R&D. This position may develop towards a more senior role in project management or product development according to individual professional goals.

Project Engineer

We are now looking new Project Engineer to join our Customer Care EMEA Team

Key responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys
- Collecting and reporting information about site conditions
- Support customer construction follow-up
- Support project-related R&D work by writing descriptions and requirements for adaptations
- Design and test installation tools
- Conduct MSR degaussing and testing as required
- Communicating with and aiding installation teams
- Assist installation project manager with site design
- Adherence to Megin processes and ways of working

Platform Engineer

Description:
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge medical products that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders in brain functionality, such as epilepsy. The Team is in Espoo, Finland.
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Megin’s AWS cloud infrastructure, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining product infrastructure as code. We hope you would also take ownership of quality management processes related to product security and assist or lead the security vulnerability surveillance and patching process.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree in technology, computer science, or a related field, and have a minimum of five years of professional software development experience, with at least three years of experience as a professional cloud and infrastructure developer. Proficiency in on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure development and maintenance, a solid understanding of practical cyber/information security, and experience in Linux server and Windows administration are essential. Excellent documentation and communication skills in English are also required.
Familiarity with Software as a Medical Device development and related regulations such as IEC 62304, as well as experience as a lead developer, will be highly appreciated.

Summer Intern - MEG Development Support

We are looking for two Summer Interns to join our MEG Engineering and Development team at Megin Oy. As an Intern, you will work alongside our experienced professionals in the medical device industry, assisting with the development and testing of medical devices.
Role 1: You will work as part of a software team supporting the internationalization of the MEG recording software.
Role 2: You will work as part of a software and methods team in testing an analysis software
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and testing of MEG equipment and software
